Clark Funeral Home Posted February 17, 2018 Report Share Posted February 17, 2018 Reverend Billy Wheeler, age 78, of Dallas, GA., passed away on Friday, February 16, 2018. He was born on July 22, 1939 to the late Buren and Verdie Wheeler. Mr. Wheeler was a member of Pine Ridge Baptist Church and served the community as a Minister for many years. He was retired from Americold Logistics. He was a loving, devoted, husband, father and friend. He is preceded in death by his wife of 60 years, Corrie Ann Wheeler, his parents, 3 sisters; Imogene Craton, Hazel Jones, Margaret Freeman and 2 grandsons; Adam Lee Henry and Brandon Thomason. Survivors include his son, Craig (Trina) Wheeler of Dallas, GA., daughters; Pam (Terry) Thomason of Lawrenceville, GA., Andrea (Darryl) Kirkpatrick of Douglasville, GA., Holly (Wade) Moeller of Powder Springs, GA., brother, J.B. (Gerri) Wheeler of Dallas, GA., his 4 grandchildren; Brooke MacDonald of Lawrenceville, GA, Amber Kirkpatrick of Maryland, Bailey Wheeler of Dallas, GA, and Dylon Moeller of Powder Springs, GA., granddaughter-in-law, Katherine Henry Garcia of Fort Worth, TX; 3 great-grandchildren, Lily Kalinowski of Lawrenceville, GA., Chloe Kalinowski of Lawrenceville, GA., and Branson Henry of Ft. Worth , TX. Several nieces and nephews are also survived by him. Funeral services for Reverend Wheeler will be held on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at 4:30 from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Michael Wheeler officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 2:30 PM until the service begins at 4:30 PM. A private interment will follow the service. Serving as pallbearers will be the following gentlemen; Lewis Beavers, Mickey Skelton, Daryl Kirkpatrick, Wade Moeller, Terry Thomason, Jody Brown and Steven Wheeler.
