Fay M. Tibbitts, age 83, of Dallas, GA., passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2018. She was born on August 27, 1934 in Dallas, GA. to the late Melvis “Joe” and Eva Benson McMichen. Mrs. Tibbitts worked as a Book Keeper and a secretary for J-5 Construction and was a faithful member of Narrow Way Baptist Church and Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband, Laban R. Tibbitts, her parents, and her brother, Jim McMichen.

Survivors include her sons; Michael Laban and Sherrie Tibbitts of Dallas, GA., Dago and Vickie Tibbitts of Dallas, GA., Joey and Mandy Tibbitts of Dallas, GA., her brother; Gene and Joyce McMichen of Sharpsburg, GA., Don and Jimmie McMichen of Newnan, GA., her grandchildren; Melanie and Gary Thompson, Jon and Jodi Tibbitts, Jason and Leslie Tibbitts, Kip and Tracey Tibbitts, Zane and Jean Marie Tibbitts, Caleb Tibbitts all of Dallas, GA., her great-grandchildren; Cole Palmer, Ada Thompson, Ansleigh McFarland, Baleigh Tibbitts, Taryn Tibbitts, Dustin Tibbitts, Keeley Tibbitts, Andrew Baxter, Maston Tibbitts, and Miles Tibbitts. Several nieces and nephews are also survived by her.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Tibbitts will be held on Sunday, January 14, 2018 at 2:00 PM from Narroway Baptist Church with Rev. Todd Tibbitts, Rev. Jimmy Tibbitts and Rev. Eddie Davidson officiating. Interment will follow the service at Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery with the following gentlemen serving as pallbearers; Jon Tibbitts, Gary Thompson, Jason Tibbitts, Kip Tibbitts, Zane Tibbitts, Dustin Tibbitts, and Andrew Singleton with Andrew Baxter and Cole Palmer serving as honorary pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday, January 13, 2018 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

In lieu of flowers the family respectfully requests that donations be made to either Narroway Baptist Church Cemetery funds or Mt. Moriah Baptist Church Cemetery funds.
