Clark Funeral Home Posted November 29, 2017 Report Share Posted November 29, 2017 Steve Lester, age 58, of Ball Ground, GA, passed away on Monday, November 28, 2017. He was born on March 24, 1959, in Austell, GA, and was preceded in death by his father, Johnie Lester. Mr. Lester attended Ball Ground Baptist Church and worked for Shepherd Convention Services for several years. Survivors include son, Justin Lester of Dallas, GA; brother, Jonathan Lester of Ball Ground, GA; mother, Betty Joyner Lester of Alpharetta, GA; sister, Anna & Dan Blair of Alpharetta, GA; nieces, Amanda & Jeff Williamson, and Constance & Josh Padgett; nephew, Brayden Lester; great-niece and nephew, Lilly & Caden Williamson. Graveside services will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2017, at 2 PM, from Poplar Springs Baptist Church Cemetery, with Reverend Lamar Rackley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, December 1, 2017, from 4 PM until 7 PM. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
