"He knew what he signed up for."

This is the problem with liberals; they want to completely ignore the instances of wrong-doing by their own party and party members. You're no different.

Wow. Pot meet kettle.

In September of 2012 I was coming to grips with the fact that my two year old son was likely autistic and the difficulties that come with that. I wasn't sitting on a computer discussing world events. GFY

Trump doesn't respect soldiers that get caught maybe he doesn't care for the ones that get killed.

The president says dumb things on almost a daily basis. It's not that hard to believe that he would say something that stupid.

And about a year ago, the New York Times had Hillary as a 93% probability to win the White House. Damn Ruskies.

What have we come to? A pregnant widow with small kids cried about her conversation with the President of the USA because of many reasons....not knowing his name, he knew what he signed up for, etc.? She, she did that for political reasons?!? Really?!?

Anyway.............talk amongst yourselves.

The ambassador was told by the state department not to go to Benghazi. The ambassador is dead because of his own bad decisions. How many congressional hearings does it take for you wingnuts to let it go ? The rest of your comment is unproven hogwash.

False... now try reading the book.

I gave you some examples of who I believe are heroes: Audie Murphy being one of those. It appears how I define a hero is differently on how you define a hero, but you claim you're right and I'm wrong. Here's an important aspect here; I'm a veteran and you're not. You're the one who said he offended veterans with his remarks, but I was not offended nor were the veterans I know.

A survey by the Military Times had a different opinion than "all those veterans" that you know. It came out pretty much awash among enlisted men but among officers (you know ones with a brain) he came out decidedly on the unfavorable side.

The survey found that 53.4 percent of officers had an unfavorable view of President Trump, while 30.6 percent view him favorably.

It just hit me, with Jenilyn's last post, that the left is more interested in superficial "feel good" stuff from the POTUS than the things he actually does.

They care more about what he says and tweets than his policy and actions.

This thread is about Trump and his disrespect toward La David Johnson's widow.

OK, how did he disrespect her?

Outside of your imagination he hasn't done anything except issue a slew of executive orders you know those things that use to drive the right insane when Obama was president.

Your comment is a perfect example of hypocrisy, and or you just don't know the meaning of the word. think about it.

I suggest you go back and do a little research on this site. I have called out Republicans and any elected one of them who breaks the law should be held accountable for it.

Do you know who owns the Military Times papers?

OK, how did he disrespect her?

This is true.

I'm still waiting to hear how he disrespected her myself. When someone says, "He knew what he was getting into, but he did it anyway. It's still difficult to accept the loss." is no different than saying, "Your husband was a very brave man accepting the challenges of serving his country." I wonder how many on this site has had to tell a complete stranger they have lost a loved one? I have had to do it twice in my life and each time I found it to be one of the most difficult things I have ever had to do. There are no real words you can say that brings them real comfort. My wife lost her father this past April to West Nile Virus. He suffered for six months paralyzed from the neck down and breathing on a ventilator. No matter what kind words anybody said to my wife, it still didn't bring her any comfort at all losing her father.

You just proved my point.

The reality is, they would be just as vehement in their opposition to any Republican in the WH. All they want is a president who will promise them "free" stuff from the government regardless of how much further it puts the country in debt.

Trump's tax plan will cause a projected deficit of a Trillion and a half dollars so don't even pretend to care about deficits.

You did very good in looking what company owns the papers. Now you know how to look stuff up, so why not start doing it more often to find out if the liberal sites you're always using is telling the truth or not?

You haven't heard how he wants to eliminate wasteful spending as well?

And once again you demonstrate your lack of understanding of economics in a capitalist system.

Yeah, I know, you read it somewhere. Written by other Socialists, no doubt.

We have to grow our way out of this mess we're in; the only thing we can do that won't take multiple decades to implement is to grow the economy and increase tax revenues through full employment and high paying employment. At first, the deficit will rise, but if the country will stop being so negative and allow the economy to catch fire, we will start to see a tax revenues increase dramatically.

But here's the real problem...congress has to start throttling back spending. And that's not likely to happen on either side of the isle because our system is broken. .

Just so you know every time you start a comment with that condescending bullcheeze (which is virtually every time) I don't know about anyone else but after that the rest of it just looks like blah blah blah, blah blah blah...blah blah to me.

And that's exactly why Dotard should not have made the call. He already lacks empathy and he has no experience making such a call. As usual, Dotard was making it all about himself.

This incident reveals much more about Dotard then just his lack of empathy, hateful manner and inability to tell the truth. When this first came up he told reporters he had called or written virtually every Gold Star family since taking office. This was a lie and his state department knowing it was a lie scrambled to get the names of the families of fallen soldiers and rush off letters of condolences.

It is well known Trump has a problem with concentration, focus and paying attention to detail, one reason the healthcare bill failed was he never took the time to find out what was in it. He has already contradicted himself on the upcoming tax reform legislation, One day he says 401k contributions will absolutely not be affected then he says they may be up for negotiation, it's obvious he hasn't a clue what's in the bill.

If Trumps lack of human emotion does not concern you, if you don't mind that he lies virtually everyday, maybe the fact that he is either too lazy to do his job or too caught up in twitter wars or staying up all night to watch himself on cable news or more likely just does not have the mental capacity to be the leader of the free world should concern you in fact with all the going on in this world should worry the Hell out of you.

Please provide a link proving your statement he lied about contacting Gold Star Families.

As far as tax reform goes, he has to work with Congress as they have to write and pass the legislation. I'm sure there is a lot of negotiating going on between the WH and Congress.

I don't think he lacks emotion at all. As I stated earlier, it's tough to talk to someone who lost a loved one. What words can you actually say that brings them comfort for their loss?

Donald Trump Started Rush-Delivering Families’ Condolence Letters to Cover His Ass

Donald Trump is a president who wants all of the credit for none of the work. When criticized for his lackluster response to four U.S. soldiers killed in Niger, he bristled and said he's called "virtually all" families of soldiers killed since he took office. We learned earlier this week that, to no one's surprise, that was mostly bunk. But in a new report, The Atlantic describes just how big a steaming pile of bunk it actually is.

So Trump hadn't actually contacted "virtually all" those Gold Star families. In fact, it seems he missed quite a few of them, and once the White House realized what a P.R. nightmare they had on their hands (not to mention a straight-up failure of human decency), they turned to overnight delivery to try and cover their asses. So once again, Trump lied and his underlings are scrambling to make reality match what he said, all the while blaming the media for uncovering the lie in the first place.

If Trump said that to me, I would take it as he was honoring my loved one. "He knew what he was getting into." That to me means he knew it was dangerous and still volunteered for it. Of course he was in a dangerous job, He was an Army Ranger. She should be honored the President took the time out of his schedule to phone her personally. How about showing some respect to the Commander-In- Chief? She also knew what she was getting into by marrying someone in the military. I feel bad for the children who will now grow up without a Father, they didn't sign up for that life.

I'd wager a picture of Ben Franklin (or whatever you think you could cover) that Mr. Trump's IQ is 30 points or more higher than yours. He didn't spend his very successful career in real estate and development taking orders from a lackey union steward. He probably had more original thoughts this morning while sitting on the can than you've had in your whole life, combined.

It's hilarious watching you. Stock up on your blood pressure meds, DJT is playing the lame stream media (and you) for the clowns they are.

Once again you display your hypocrisy. You quite often blast MrsHoward for using what you often refer to as right-wing extremist sites/blogs; yet here you use a left-wing extremist site/blog. In your little article, is a guy claiming that is what a professor had said about Trump. How do you know he's telling the truth?

How do you know he isn't ? Judging by his first year in office I would say the circumstantial evidence is overwhelming.
