Clark Funeral Home Posted September 13, 2017 Report Share Posted September 13, 2017 (edited) Joan Harter, age 80, of Hiram, GA, passed away on Wednesday, September 13, 2017. She was born on September 19, 1936, in England, to the late William Guy & Eliza Broadwood, and was preceded in death by her sister, Audrey Broadwood, and brother, Melvin Broadwood. Mrs. Harter was a member of Living Hope Lutheran Church. Survivors include her daughter, Dianne Jean & Bill Murphy of Acworth, GA; grandchildren, Christopher Francis Murphy of Brooklyn, NY, and Kayleigh Audri Murphy of Acworth, GA. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, September 19, 2017, at 1:30 PM, from GA National Cemetery, with Pastor Daniel Hoover officiating. Family and friends are invited for a celebration of her birthday and life following the graveside service at Bill & Dianne Murphy’s home, 1502 Falls Brooke Place, Acworth, GA 30104, it will themed “All things Tea”. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to St. Jude Children’s Hospital, at www.stjude.org Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
