Jim “Coach” Wright, age 78, of Dallas, GA, passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2017. He was born on March 23, 1939, in Rockmart, GA, to the late E.C. & Lorine Wright, and was preceded in death by his brother, Thomas Wright. Mr. Wright worked as a postal worker for over 35 years.

Survivors include wife of 31 years, Susan Wright, of Dallas, GA; son, Jamie Wright of Dallas, GA; daughters, Jenny & Eddie Keown of Hiram, GA, Jerri Johnston of Hiram, GA, and Brandie Holcomb of Dallas, GA; brothers, Jack & Jackie Wright of Douglasville, GA, Robert & Ann Wright of Rockmart, GA, and Ben & Cindy Wright of Felton, GA; sister, Laura & Phil Merritt of Felton, GA; seven grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, September 15, 2017 at 11 AM, at Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Pastor Robert Wright and Chaplain Keith Guyton officiating. Interment will be held at Gresham Reed Cemetery on Friday, September 15, 2017, at 3 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, September 14, 2017, from 5 PM until 8 PM.
