Recommended Posts

On Wednesday, a fourth shooting has occurred in Dallas in the past month, Georgia in Paulding County, Ga. that involved individuals attempting to steal a homeowner’s vehicle and was met by the homeowner who returned fire after the suspects shot at him.

The incident occurred at approximately 5:15 am at Oakdale Path and Old Villa Rica Rd.

A Paulding County, Georgia resident says he could have been killed during a shoot out with would-be-robbers this morning. The violence erupted on Old Villa Rica Road at about 5:30am Wednesday morning when the 26-year-old victim’s father heard someone starting his son’s Chevy Blazer in the driveway.

The victim grabbed his pistol and ran outside to find two guys at the top of the driveway trying to pull off. The victim says the driver opened fire on him.“I come running up to the truck and they started shooting through the windshield at me. I see the flash and hit the floor. The driver got out and stayed there for a minute, still firing at me, at that time, I returned fire.

The white 1982 Chevy Blazer is riddled with bullets. You can even see where they busted the steering column to steal the truck.Despite all the bullets that were fired, amazingly no one was hurt.

“I could have been dead right now, but I am standing here talking to you, the victim told Fox5’s Aungelique Proctor.Deputies say the culprits jumped into an awaiting vehicle and fled the scene. They don’t have much of a description on either man.

Meanwhile the victim, who didn’t want to reveal his identity, says he had no choice.

“What was the other option? There was no other option. If I was to… one out, they were willing to shoot at me no matter what.

“That’s the problem. We don’t know a whole lot. So, we want to reach out to the community. Did you see or hear anything this morning?” Paulding County Sgt. Ashley Henson stated.

I blame the airport.

Funny..LOL..A 1982 Chevy Blazer...I'm thinking red necks meth heads off Old Villa Rica or Cole Lake. Someone that had just enough money to get a pack of cigarettes and enough gas to make up the street. The getaway driver was probably a pregnant girl friend.

...I know...I know....That was mean spirited.

It was Cowboys and Indians, I think! The Cowboys were in the house, and the Indians were in the Blaser.

I'm offended. It's insensitive to claim Native Americans were involved in this situation. I'm guessing next you will say one of the cowboys was a red head? Go ahead, double up on offending my ancestors.

I sincerely apologize, mojo! I saw so many of western movies, growing up, that I sometimes forget what reality is.

Yes, Native Americans were blamed for Tea Party activity, long ago, and they still got blamed, in Western movies, for years.

Anyway, the situation, in Paulding, was bad. I actually feel for the victims. I wish the perps had carried some lead with them when they left.

That's a whole lot of info. It's a little to much to not include at least the number of perpetrators known, no races there of, or even a color or type of getaway vehicle.

Could be the channel 5 reporter or maybe they have a better idea than their saying.
