Kenneth Edward Headrick - September 12, 1961 - November 8, 2016

Mr. Kenneth Edward Headrick, affectionately known to his family and friends as “Kenny”, age 55 of Temple passed away on Tuesday, November 8, 2016 at Tanner Medical Center in Villa Rica, Georgia.

 

Kenny was born on September 12, 1961 in Ashland, Alabama to loving parents, the late Mr. Joseph Edward Headrick and Mrs. Mildred Uneeda Johnson Headrick. An electrician, Kenny worked for Inglett and Stubbs for many years. An avid outdoorsman, Kenny enjoyed hunting, fishing, clay shooting, and riding ATV’s. Kenny was an active volunteer with the Floyd County Wildlife Association and loved teaching children to hunt, fish, and shoot.

 

In addition to his parents, Kenny is preceded in death by his grandparents.

 

Kenny is survived by his wife of 29 years, Mrs. Laura Headrick of Temple; two beloved dogs, Walker and Chisum; 4 siblings, Mr. Joseph Paul Headrick and his wife, Susie of Dallas, Mrs. Carolyn Shears and her husband, Rodney of Lineville, Alabama, Ms. Brenda H. Bell of Munford, Alabama, and Mrs. Mary J. Sprayberry and her husband, Scott of Lineville, Alabama; 2 nephews, Mr. Timmy Headrick and his wife, Kendra of Knoxville, Tennessee and Mr. Donovan Sprayberry of Lineville, Alabama; 3 nieces, Ms. Teresa Headrick of Georgia, Mrs. Stacie Wyatt of Delta, Alabama, and Mrs. Jennifer Frank of Munford, Alabama; Aunt, Geraldean Headrick of Lineville and Uncle Burnon Headrick of San Bernadino, California. In addition, several great nieces, nephews, cousins and many other relatives and friends also survive.

 

A memorial service for Kenny Headrick will be held on Friday, November 11, 2016 at 6 PM in the Chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home with Rev. Thomas Cole officiating. The family will receive friends from 4-6 PM on Friday, November 11, 2016 just prior to the service.

 

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that donations be made to the Floyd County Wildlife Association, the Paulding County Humane Society or to the National Coalition for Cancer Survivorship in memory of Debra Singleton, Mildred Headrick and Carolyn Smith.

 

Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home is honored to serve the family of Mr. Kenneth Edward “Kenny” Headrick.
