Clark Funeral Home Posted February 14, 2016 Report Share Posted February 14, 2016 Carolyn S. Phillips, age 61, of Mableton, GA, passed away on Friday February 12, 2016. She was born on July 15, 1954, in Knoxville, TN, to the late Harold Amber Stanton & Lucy Aileen Guinn Stanton. Mrs. Phillips was a homemaker and Baptist by faith. Survivors include her loving husband of almost 42 years, James Phillips of Mableton, GA; son, Daniel Phillips of Atlanta, GA; daughter, Jennifer Phillips of Mableton, GA; sisters, Betty Palmer of Powder Springs, GA, Jacquelyn Craig of Maryville, TN; several nieces & nephews. A memorial service for Mrs. Phillips will be held on Saturday, February 20, 2016, at 4:00 PM, from the Clark Funeral Home Chapel, with Reverend Don Rackley officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service, from 3:00 PM until 4:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that contributions be made to American Diabetes Association, in memory of Carolyn S. Phillips.
