Richard Allan "Rickey" Butler, age 54, of Dallas, GA, died suddenly on Wednesday, August 26, 2015. He was born on January 31, 1961, in Andalusia, AL, to the late Ferrel “Pete” Butler & Eleanor Butler. Mr. Butler worked as electrician for over 30 years.

 

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Angela Cottle Butler; two children, Brandon & Annie Butler, brother & sister-in-law, Dale & Anabel Butler of Pembrooke Pines, FL; brother-in-law, John Cottle of Gantt, AL; in-laws, Mack & Ann Morris of Milton, FL, and Thomas Cottle of Gantt, AL; nieces & nephew, Corey Butler, Lindsay Butler Oparowski, Lexie Cottle, & Mandi Cottle.

 

Funeral services for Mr. Butler will be held on Monday, August 31, 2015, at 11:00 AM, from the Foreman-Brown Service Funeral Home, in Andalusia, AL. Reverend Wayne Sharpe will be officiating. Interment will follow at Andalusia Memorial Gardens. Serving as pallbearers will be, Jim Seymour, Chris Brawner, Daron Bulger, Brian Ray, Donnie Wicker, & Jordan Borders.

 

The family will receive friends at Clark Funeral Home, in Hiram, GA, on Saturday, August 29, 2015 from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM and at Foreman-Brown Service Funeral Home in Andalusia, AL, on Sunday, August 30, 2015, from 5:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests for donations be made to the American Red Cross or the Juvenile Diabetes Research Fund, in memory of Rickey Butler.
