Viagra For Women’ Is Backed By An F.D.A. Panel

Recommended Posts

I was reading about this yesterday. It's about time, but this pill is not the total answer I don't think. I think there is still more work to be done to help women with their sex drive.

There are so many varibles when a woman loses her sex drive and this pill has a lot of side effects and what I was reading said it's a pill a woman has to take every day of her life, and no one knows the long term effects.

BUT it's a START. It's always been about men and their sex drive, this company has been trying to get FDA approval for a long time.

Yes, low!

At least it's a start. Some people, men too, can take a pill consisting of powdered sugar, flower, or whatever, and it works, simply because they knew they took a pill.

I don't have to take a pill, Dear, because you are pill enough for me. Now, let me retract that for the purpose of this being a public message board. And, the fact that you, and I, are only friends and not lovers, allows us to talk on this subject without prejudice.

I love you for being an open minded person, low! But, there is no opportunity to exercise any physical activity. I would get into serious trouble, and my wife would send me packing.

I think that little pink pill would help women, and men. If a husband thinks his wife has started taking them, he will probable get excited, based simply on the fact that his wife took such a pill. And, if the instructions are followed, on the pill bottle, there is going to be some reasoning that helps both partners; don't you think? .

I appreciate that as a society that we can discuss sex openly.

It seems to me we have become obsessed about sex, specifically better sex.

It comes in pill form, brown paper packages in the mail and even from a different partner.

I think many people believe that there are a lot of people out there having better sex and they want it too.

There are a lot of downsides to the free for all we have created when it comes to sex.

I think the worse is how children see it way too young. They not only think about it more at earlier ages they do it earlier.

They often mimic what they are seeing on online porn sites.

It is not a good example to set for young people that sex is the center of the universe.

Because it is wrong, love and relationships are the center of the universe.

Love and sex bring intimacy a bubble of deep trust you share with only one person.

What about the reality of getting older and your libidos slow down for both sexes. Do we really need the hot frequent sex of young adulthood to keep the relationship strong? Is that really the glue? the sex? Or are we just convinced of that because of what we read and see?

I know that there are good reasons for these drugs for men and women. Both can have medical issues beyond their control. It can put a lot of stress on a relationship when one still has a strong drive and the other does not.

It really bothers me that men of all ages buy these drugs illegally because they want sex to be like they imagine other people are having.

I can only imagine the poor women being pushed to get this drug to keep up with perfectly normal men using drugs like viagra.

It seems to me that I read about sex, see something sexual on the TV, radio, billboards, and magazines about 50-100 times of day. Second to that is freakin food, I guess you have to please everyone.

It seems sometimes that it really is the center of the universe.

I agree. I think a lot of women are under pressure to "keep up". And there are so many variables involved with a woman's sexuality and arousal when all a man has to do is pop a little blue pill.

I know I'm tired of the commercials talking about an erection for a man.

But hopefully this is the beginning of help for women that need it.

Ignoring reality is the problem, coming and going. We lie to our kids about Santa Clause. When I was a kid, Storks brought my two sisters. When I found out the truth, I was mad as hell. I still don't like to be lied to, nor about.

I used to play hanky panky with everybody else that had been lied to. I thought my daddy was kidding when one of my sisters was born. He told my mother, "next time you poop a turd like that, pinch its head off." He was being more realistic than my mother in regard to the Stork. A lie is a lie, in my book.

Food, is the biggest lie that marketing ever had anything to do with. They lie like hell, to the American people, and them blame their hyped up, lard arses, on them. They took fat out of food, years ago, but what did markers do? They added sugar.

They started growing corn, to make high fructose corn syrup. They put that stuff in everything, it seems. It gives people type 2 diabetes, a fat arse, and heart disease, only to name a few diseases.

I ain't buying that wives tale ladies. That being nothing is a bigger turn on for her than a husband who cleans, cooks, does the laundry and takes care of the kids. Hah!! At this point she just comes home, props her feet up and whips out the laptop then asks what's for dinner. Still nada. And for the record I still work 3 jobs. Not a bash on women so much as to say I seriously doubt any female aphrodisiac truly exists.

Some husbands don't think women belong to themselves. They are owned. So it doesn't matter if there is a female aphrodisiac or not.

Christian men are that way; are they not?

.

No, TP. True Christian men are NOT that way. We are to love our wives as Christ loved the Church and gave Himself for her.

That's true, mtm!

But, I know a lot of older lady's who say the same thing the young woman in that video did.

I am a Christian. but not a true one, because I have to ask myself, WWJD?, to much. If I was a true Christian I wouldn't have to do that. The answer would come automatic.

TP, just because you have to ask WWJD doesn't mean you aren't a true Christian. I ask that question many times a day. It is actually a good thing to put some thought into our actions and to seek out what Jesus would have you do. Not all situations have an obvious answer. Sometimes you have to put some thought and study into it. TP you seem to have a good heart. You and I have some differences of opinion but I have no doubt you are a brother in Christ!
