What is up with commercials

Recommended Posts

You can blame the National Association for the Advancement of Goats for that.

NAAG wants you to like what they like, do what they say . . . and they will keep on (and on and on and on) pushing their agenda.

That must be the same group the wife belongs to.

They must not know me, I defy everything.

Hi Lucky! I've been thinking about you, hope you're doing ok. :)

As far as the goat commercials go, I don't have a clue. Goats creep me out!

Yeah, I guess I can get that. But, I'll tell you what, there is very little cuter than a baby goat. Cuteness overload!

What's up with all of the male enhancement drug and personal lubricant commercials?

And what's up with those two bathtubs anyway?

It is spring and love is the air.

I'll reserve judgment on the dueling bathtubs other than to say clean sex would seem more inviting.

Yes, and they need to turn the volume down on the commercials, too. This makes me think of this.................... (I don't know how to insert the link properly) Now, THIS is a perfect example of why things like this doesn

't need to be on TV, at any hour. This is something that the Parents should be teaching their children, when they see fit!!! Not, the school system and certainly NOT any dog gone commercial!!! Although, this video is FUNNY!!

What gets me is the DRY VAGINA one. Really, you have to put that on when I am sitting down and watching TV with my 14 year old daughter. :shok:

There may soon be ads for the little PINK pill............

No guarentee that it works and it's not been proven safe according to this article

The Pink Pill: Viagra for the female brain

By Steve Shapiro

Thirty-year-old Katherine Campbell has no desire for sex. “After my first son was born, I noticed it right away. It was there one day, gone the next,” Campbell tells Yahoo Global News Anchor Katie Couric. The married mother of two says she suffers from hypoactive sexual desire disorder, a condition characterized by chronic low libido in women. Experts in the field say it’s related to brain function.

“We know there is this area of the limbic system that is åassociated with the neurotransmitters dopamine and norepinephrine that is functioning differently in the women with HSDD,” says Leah Millheiser, MD, director of the Female Sexual Medicine Program at Stanford School of Medicine.

A company called Sprout Pharmaceuticals has been lobbying the Food and Drug Administration to approve its experimental drug, which would be the first treatment of its kind for this problem.

“Flibanserin is a novel, non-hormonal pill to treat hypoactive sexual desire disorder in premenopausal women,” says Sprout CEO Cindy Whitehead.

Critics say the so-called “little pink pill” has not proven to be safe or effective. “This is a drug that’s meant to be taken every day for the rest of a woman’s life. We don’t know what the long-term effects are,” says Adriane Fugh-Berman, MD, associate professor at Georgetown University Medical Center and director of the research project PharmedOut. She also questions the validity of HSDD as a diagnosis.

Lowrider, they all ready have a commercial for that pill. Something about if you don't use protection, take the pill right after sex and it can stop pregnancy. I forget how the commercial exactly goes.

I think commercials are getting a little to free with this stuff. It should be left to parents to teach their children, but then again, the other side of my face believes a little outside help doesn't hurt to get the information home. But, not the way they are going at it right now with the commercials. Part of me feels they are just about promoting sex.

Dana, thank you for asking. I'm doing okay. Lost all my hair, and I have another infusion this Friday. Chemo sucks let me tell you.

My worst one is the Halo Orange commercial. The little baby duct-taped to the wall. With child abuse being such a real and true thing I think this is a terrible commerical. I don't find it funny.

I don't like that one either.
