BOBBY OSBORNE

 

CLOUDLAND GA: Bobby Gene Osborne age 81 passed away Saturday, October 4, 2014 at his residence. He was owner of Osborne Hosiery and Osborne Clothing, Dallas, GA; he had been a farmer raising chickens and cattle. He enjoyed traveling and had visited all 50 states and was a member of New Salem Baptist Church.

 

He is preceded in death by his parents, Amos and Bertha Osborne; sister, Diane Osborne and brother, Cecil Osborne.

 

Survivors include his loving wife, LaForest Osborne; daughter, Mary (John) Ackerson, Charm, OH; son, James (Carol) Osborne, Dallas, GA; sisters, Doris (R.L) Robinson, Dallas, GA and Ruby (Danny) Patrick, Dallas, GA; brother, Charles (Doris) Osborne, Dallas, GA; four grandchildren, Richard Osborne, Elizabeth (Thomas) Williams, Addie Ackerson, Asa (Megan) Ackerson; great granddaughter, Miss Emma Grace Osborne; several nieces and nephews.

 

Funeral services were held 11:00 AM EDT Monday, October 6, 2014 in the Chapel of Moore Funeral Home with Brother Jim Hixon officiating. Interment will be held at Dallas Memory Gardens, Dallas, GA with Brother Jim Blaylock officiating.

 

Visitation was Sunday 2:00 PM ~ 5:00 PM Monday 10:00 AM ~ 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to New Salem Baptist Church 541 Scenic Hwy Rising Fawn GA 30738

Very sweet graveside service in Dallas for Mr. Osborne yesterday. Mr. Osborne truly was a wonderful man who could brighten your day in a heartbeat. He will be missed by many!

We in the Sparti family are so sorry that we didn't know this until just seeing this post. Our hearts go out to the Osborne family for this huge loss. Mr. Osborne was a great man.
