House cleaner

Recommended Posts

I need someone to come to my home and clean it with a fine tooth and comb, to put it on the market to sell. I'm not interested in the cleaning business that is advertised here.

Anyone out there clean homes??

I have Brazilian Cherry Wood Floors through most of the house, and Parquet Flooring in the Formal Dining Room. Must know how to clean them. Oh, and wood flooring in the Family Room, forgot what kind. I just know it's a floating floor.

We have 4 bedrooms, 3 complete bathrooms, Formal Dining Room, Formal Living Room, Kitchen, Family Room, and a Washer and Dryer Area downstairs. The house is about 3000+ sq. ft. This includes cleaning the windows.

I have owned my business here in Paulding for 20 years and would be glad to assist you. Please feel free to go to my website: maidinamericaga.com and click on the "get a quote" page and I will send you some pricing and information. The best thing for those floors, if you don't already know, would likely be using white vinegar and water and mopped dry. It is best that you do your own research if you haven't already cleaned them and use the recommendations of the flooring company. Best wishes! Or you may call me at 770-427-4448. Vicky

Did a google search and found this:

Brazilian cherry hardwood flooring can be one of the most beautiful types of flooring in the world. However, if you do not maintain them properly, they can start to look bad. Here are a few tips to keep in mind when cleaning Brazilian cherry hardwood flooring.

Water and Dishwashing Liquid

One of the most simple and effective ways to clean your Brazilian cherry hardwood is with water and dishwashing liquid. With this technique, you are going to want to add a few drops of dishwashing liquid to a bucket of warm water. You can then get some of the mixture on a mop and apply it to the floor. Make sure that you wring out the mop well so that it is only damp. After you are done mopping the floor, you will want to make sure that you clean it with pure water. At that point, you will want to go through with a towel and remove all of the excess water. You never want to leave any water sitting on top of the Brazilian cherry hardwood flooring. Water and wood do not mix and you want to make sure that the wood flooring is always extremely dry.

Removing Dust

When you have Brazilian cherry hardwood flooring, you will notice that dust tends to accumulate on the floor quickly. Because of this, you are going to need to remove it frequently if you want the floor to look good. In order to do this, you can use a few different methods. Many people simply use a broom and a dustpan to get rid of a lot of the dirt and dust. Another good way to remove the dirt and dust is by using a Swiffer dustmop. If you have the right kind of vacuum cleaner, you can also use it to remove the dust. Many people recommend vacuuming every 2 to 4 days for best results. If you leave a lot of dirt on the floor, it can help break down the protective finish on the wood. When you walk on the floor with dust on it, it is going to grind up against the finish.

Commercial Cleaners

You might also want to try some of the many commercial hardwood flooring cleaning products that are available in the marketplace. These products are specially designed to be used on hardwood flooring. Many times, they will come in a spray bottle. With this type of commercial cleaner, you are simply going to spray it onto the floor and then wipe it up with a rag or a mop. Other commercial cleaners come in a large bucket and you will most likely need to mix them with water before mopping. When it comes to this type of cleaner, you are going to want to use the same rules as you do with water. Do not ever leave liquid sitting on top of the hardwood floor as it could potentially damage it.
