MrsB
How the heck is it so cheap for men? I'm lucky if I get out of there at $60, and that's a discount!
Eddie Bennett
I go to the beauty shop, because the beauticians look much better in the mirrors. They even give me a discount.
cptlo306
I think mine cost $12 but I always just give a $20 bill.
kp527
Mine are $16. I usually give him a $20. AND CASH only. It's easier for them not to have to claim cash.

Are you suggesting tax evasion? If people who get paid in cash don't claim their income, the people who get paid by reported income have to shoulder more than their share of the tax burden. Don't claim cash income and qualify for discounted healthcare which is charged to others. I'm not a fan of taxes, just don't want to have to pay more than my share because others cheat the system. ChocoMare
Always tip.... 20% usually. He does a great job on Mr. ChocoMare's hair. Love the old timey feel of his shop, replete with checkers table.
J'smom
Why wouldn't you tip your barber? And I echo the sentiment above--must be nice to only pay $15, including tip, for a haircut! Hubby about stroked out when my shampoo, cut, and blowdry was $20 until I pointed out that most women's haircuts are at least $60!
dana
Hubby tips generously and it's always cash.
