UPS plane has crashed in Birminham

A large UPS cargo plane crashed before sunrise Wednesday, just outside the perimeter fence of Birmingham-Shuttlesworth International Airport.


According to the FAA, UPS Flight 1354 -- an A300 enroute from Louisville, KY to Birmingham, AL -- crashed on approach to the airport in Birmingham about 6 a.m.


WBRC, FOX 6 in Birmingham, reports that two people were aborad the plane. There's been no official word on their condition or identities.
