Mama Carol
My heart is breaking. I loved Dr. Ralph. I saw him not long ago and we spoke a good while. RIP Dr. Ralph. I'm sure he is meeting up with Dr. Bob and Ms Georgia. Dr. Ralph D. Morris: Aug. 20, 1938 - June 28, 2013. mhparker92
My chiropractor had studied under him before going out on his own. I had just asked him on Friday how he was doing and he told me then that he was in Hospice care and wasn't doing well. Neither of us had any idea that that was going to be the day. He was my first chiro. He overcame alot of my fears and reassured me as to chiropractic care's place in my overall health. I will be forever grateful. And, Ms. Georgia - she was a piece of work. I always told her she was Miss America with a name like that (and then he had Miss Virginia - I think he had a thing for Miss America). RIP Dr. Morris. You fought the good fight! Mama Carol
I did not know he had been in hospice care. It hasn't been long since I saw him and he looked quite well. He was going somewhere up around Cartersville but had stopped at Martin's for breakfast. I didn't even realize it was him in front of me until I heard him speak. We never saw each other without giving a hug. He never saw my husband without a good handshake. We both got them that day. He helped me tremendously, more than once. When our daughter sustained a concussion and whiplash, he got her back "together". Once the CT scan showed no fractures, we took her straight to Dr. Ralph. The effects of the concussion lasted a long, long time (and to a degree are still bothering her) but the whiplash was taken care of quickly. Ms Georgia was a peach, wasn't she? I know Dr. Ralph was hit hard with the loss of Georgia and Dr. Bob so close together (just a few months apart). I think they were his two closest friends. I just wish we were there as I would definitely go to visitation and possibly the funeral. I'll miss him. He was a great man and a wonderful chiropractor.
