Mr. Johnny Frank Jacobs

Funeral Services for Mr. Johnny Frank Jacobs age 63 of Dallas, Ga. will be held on Friday October 19, 2012 at 3:00 P.M. from the Benson Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Matt Shutley and Rev. Henry Walraven officiating.

 

Mr. Jacobs will be cremated following the service.

 

The Family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday October 18, 2012 from 5:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

 

The Family has requested that in Lieu of Flowers contributions be made to the funeral home to help with the funeral cost.

 

Mr. Jacobs worked as a carpenter and contractor for over thirty years in both residential and commercial construction before his health limited him. Mr. Jacobs also enjoyed spending time working with Paulding.com over the last few years. He cherished his many friendships that he made through Paulding.com.

 

Survivors include:

 

Wife: Mrs. Debra Wheaton Jacobs of Dallas, Ga.

 

Daughter: Mr. & Mrs. Matthew (Heather Jacobs) Shutley

 

Daughter: Ms. Jennifer Jacobs Presley

 

Sons: Mr. & Mrs. Mark (Taigan) Jacobs

 

Mr. Nathan Jacobs

 

Step Children: Cindi Wiley, Becky Smith and Sarah Wheaton

 

Grandchildren: Jacob, Andrew and Clay Shutley, Dylan, Joshua and Jonathan Presley, Dawson Smith, Ethan Whitley, Megan Johns, Justin Johns, Ashlyne Blackburn, Chelsea Smith, Austin Blackburn

 

Great Grandchild: Miss Savannah Ochiltree

 

Brothers: Mr. Michael Jacobs and Mr. Tony Jacobs

 

Preceded In Death By: Parents: Rev. & Mrs. Frank (Marjorie Walraven) Jacobs, Wife; Mrs. Darlene Jacobs, Grandson: Nicolas Smith, Niece: Jamesa Jacobs and several aunts, uncles, cousins and other family and friends

To JJ ... you brought out those who haven't posted in a long time on your beloved pcom, only you could pull the community together :) You will be very missed and were much beloved.

To family & friends ... may your memories help ease some of you pain in the days and weeks to come. JJ sure could induce great smiles and memories when he was around .... deepest condelances on your loss.

Oh no! He was just on here last week. What happened? His son Matthew went to school with my son at Northside. He and his wife were real sweet.

 

Johnny had been battling cancer for the last year. As the cancer ravaged his body p.com was one of the last things he could enjoy. His family says that it kept him going, Pubby and I also know it was important to him. He is at peace now and out of pain.
