Thanks, low!

I'll have to check county for location.

Looks like my vote will be winning in early voting, and I hope it goes all the way through Nov. 6 that way. drinks.gif

In and out about 15 mins. today..................I voted for change

Especially if you are one of the 47%, who are going to vote for Obama, anyway.

You are more likely to be an idiot, though, if you vote for Romney, from your 53% category. If Romney wins you will lose part of your support, because it's only 10 or 11% Romney actually cares anything about.

53% - 11% = 42% You are more likely to be in that 42% if you live in Paulding County.pardon.gif

Yes, I will be an early voter. 4 years ago, I waited well over 2 hrs. I needed to make sure my vote counted. It didn't help but, here's hoping it does this year.

What is the difference between "early" and "advance" voting?

Someone told me it you have to go online and register before being able to use early voting. Is that true?

The way I understand it:

EARLY voting is at the courthouse 3 weeks before the election.

ADVANCE voting is 1 week before and more locations are open including the courthouse.

The info and phone number are posted above.

I've never had to register online to early vote and I always vote early.

Thanks. I've always voted on Election Day. Four years ago there was a long line outside so I want to go before then this year.

I just went and voted. They are very organized and I was in and out in 15 minutes. Now I can sleep later on Nov 6th because I usually go and get in line early on election day.

Hubby and I did the early voting yesterday at the Courthouse and there was a

huge turnout. Very long lines but they were so organized that we did not

have to wait very long :) :)

I miss the fast in-and-out voting in Paulding County. I'm now in Gwinnett and I'm hoping the lines dwindle down soon.

I went around 10:30 this morning. It was only a small line. A lot of my Facebook friends in Cobb are saying the wait is anywhere from 1-3 hours long. That kind of defeats the purpose of early voting, I think.

I went around 2 or so. Had a half hour wait....not too bad.

Note to any seniors 75 or older: If you are 75 years old or older, you can go to the head of the line. Just let the poll workers know and they will see that you get taken care of.

we went today at about 12:00 and it was a huge crowd (figures...lunchtime, but we were in the area); so we ate at Audry's, went back, same thing, so we left.

Wife and I went on Wed about 1:00 PM and while there was a line, it went quickly.

I was impressed with how organized it was, cheers for the elections department.

We were in and out in less than 20 minutes.

I do recommend you research the 2 amendments before you get there, they are confusing.

Advance Voting starts Monday for the week with more locations open.

I listed the locations at the beginning of the topic. I plan on voting then, and hopefully the lines will be a little quicker because I can't stand for long.

11 Days to go and it will OVER

Left work early at 2:30 today and the line took an hour or so to get through.I also thought they were very organized. one of the ladites there said they stop every two hours and count the name sheets and the votes to make sure they match. Our county is getting larger and the quick lines are disappearing.

I get mine in the mail. Sent it off last week. Did the same thing 4 years ago.

10:00 Mt. Tabor early voting took, oh the time it took to walk in, register, and vote. That's it! No line at all.

I wonder what the wait will be at around 5:00 today?

I am a poll worker at the Crossroads Library. We were just shy of 1,000 voters at this one location yesterday. 994 voters voted at this one polling location only. People are getting out to vote. This is an exciting time for our country.

Hours for today are 8:00AM to 5PM. We will be open to 7PM tomorrow (Thursday) and then untill 5PM on Friday.

With so many coming out to vote early, I wonder how busy election day will be.....probably busy!

I voted for Romney/Ryan yesterday. It gave me great pleasure. I waited 1.5 hours in line at Boots-Ward.

Went to Crossroads Library today . It took about 15 minutes .

My daughter went with me . This is the first year she is able to vote . The poll worker told her she was so proud about how many young people were voting this year . I thought it was very nice of that woman to chat with my daughter .
