Another Meet & Greet for Melissa Morrison

Recommended Posts

The Meet & Greet for Melissa Morrison for District 19 at Jalapeno Joe's last Saturday was a big success. It raised some campaign funds, allowed a whole lot of people to meet with and speak with Melissa, AND a great time was had by all. We were there for almost 6 hours.

We were planning a similar event at Paisano's but it would have to be alcohol free. A damper for many drinks.gif

Does anyone have a suggestion of where we could have events tomorrow night, Friday, Saturday or Sunday ?

Cedarcrest area, Bentwater, Crossroads, New Hope, etc. and Hiram. Jimmy Dean is at Birdie's Friday night, and he played with Wade Lohman at Jalapeno Joes for us. We used to visit with him a great deal when our son worked at El Jalapeno, and Jimmy was playing there.

We don't eat out much and as a result don't know the popular eating establishments or watering holes let alone any that might want to work with us.

A new place trying to drum up first time patrons would be a plus as well for us and them..

Anyone with suggestions, PM me, with if possible the manager's name and number, and we will see what we can get going.

Or post on here and maybe we can get some outside of the box suggestions and discussions going.

You should cater in yourself and buy some votes with all those amazing sounding dinners you make. :drinks:

We would love to do that, but, still too much unrepaired damages going on years now that we could not handle a crowd large enough to do Melissa any good.

We used to have Relay for Life dinners, fund raisers for Heart Walk, and other charity events, but until we can afford to get the tile floors repaired, and other such issues, a large crowd would just cause more damage to what we already have.

Pizza oven has been put back together where the blasting collapsed it, but we can't afford to have the new chimney assembly installed [$1000] so we do without.

I would suggest the Olive Tree. Excellent little eatery in Downtown Hiram... and the alcohol flows freely there. They even have a nice bar.
