Ok, somewhere in the last 3-7 posts I have completely gotten lost as to what is being talked about here. Porn Thread? Double Standards? Personal Axe to grind? Who and what are y'all even talking ab

Sent.   Mr. Kemp, I am writing in regards to the eligibility of Ms. Paulette Braddock to run for the District 19 State House seat. Ms. Braddock is clearly ineligible to serve based upon the Georgia

Speaking for myself, it's not just the ethics. She is wholly unqualified to hold that office based on her inability to grasp the issues. She repeats talking points...that's it. Then you add on all

Guest Inspector Callahan

I hope you are not talking about me. I have never been a Paulette fan, die hard or otherwise.

I would like to know who the die hard, hit and run fans are myself

I respect your opinion and you have every right to endorse your candidate as I do mine. If you feel there is something that needs to be said it is your right as well as mine to be sure it is known. I apologize that you do not like the style that the website was created in. But I do not think this is the correct forum to address your concerns about that. I know as much as you do about the origins of the mentioned site, and I share your disgust in its design. However, as Craigslist has demonstrated, a very simply laid out site is many times very effective in getting information to the end user. As for your blatant attack on the people that do not care for your candidate, I feel this is in poor taste. You have replied to my post, in which I had nothing negative or derogatory to say about anyone other than the stated facts and public records. Yet you choose to degrade yourself by speaking unintelligibly and did it in my quotation at that.

As I said you have a right to your opinion, and if you can please express why we should re-elect Representative Braddock despite her disregard of the state law I would be more than happy to listen, but it will not change the fact that she legally should not be on the ballots.

Yes, it is another boring day at the office.....

ok, first off, I have no idea of the origins of the website, although apparently, you do. Interesting.

Blatant attack on people that do not like MY candidate? Actually, I prefer to think that I am throwing 'virtual punches' back at some of the 'bullies' on this site. the other day when I posted my personal phone number and challenged any of you to call me, I did get one call from a very personable, kind hearted Mrs. McMichen who does not support Rep. Braddock and gave me some very informative data on why. Other than that call, I recieved 9 (NINE) calls from folks that don't like to post because they get POUNDED by the goofuses on this site. therefore, I like to consider myself a 'poster for the little guy'. Got that?

As far as my lack of knowledge in quoting, posting, degrading myself, etc, on this site, I have no apologies. That was just your 'bullyism' type attack back at me to demean what I was attemping to say. Again, ANYONE can figure out how to reply to posts on this generic type message board, I mean anyone (look at some of the illiterates that post daily), but I just don't have the time, or initiative to work it out. Anyway, someone always jumps right in there and fixes it right up! (thanks Pubby) Your opinion of my intelligence is, well, can't think of anything to add here...

Me initiating talking points on Rep Braddock on HERE would be like the preacher preaching to the choir; why in the world would I set myself up for the total lambasting (arse whoppin') I would receive upon doing such. I don't give a hoot about the 'legality' you speak of; It is just amazing how much effort you (with the website, your lawsuit, your vitrolic attacks here)

that astounds me and many others....just curious.

Someone was kind enough to correct me on this, the tax liens are against land he owns, some may be empty lots and some may be developed. I was told he does owe taxes on them. I was under the impression that it had gone back to the bank.

I don't understand enough about it to know the different types and how the county assigns taxes to developed and undeveloped land. I do know that this is processed differently than other liens because of money owed to the bank for the property.

I do know that it is not a form of long term tax evasion. It is a process due to the housing market crash. The land and homes are not expected to sell as they go on the market like they did during the boom. I am confused about who actually owes the taxes, the bank that forecloses or the previous owner.

LPPT, i love ya and highly respect you, but to say you don't understand enough about the different types of taxes in an attempt to make light of Mr. Carruth's issues, is shameful. In another post, you said you had 'done your research' on the candidates. How can you say that and then admit you don't understand the simplicity of Mr. Carruth's tax issues?

Ok, I am not quite sure how you have read all this and still think I have any affiliation with the website. I found out about it for the first time on Paulding.com, and I even went as far as looking for registry information on the site and came up with nothing. I have zero idea about who made it.

As for your other statement, I have put in just as much effort to support my candidate in the physical realm as I have put forth in my broadcasting of the facts in the online realm. I am sorry you do not understand how someone can devote their time to a cause they believe in and trying to restore ethics to their government, but this is how I feel and I have taken an active role to ensure it happens.

It'll get back on topic. Just realize that you have your Paulette die-hard fans that will do a hit and run.

AND keep in mind the FULL MOON is officially next Wednesday, August 1, just in time for the Primary on Tuesday.

We have a week to go and It will get worse. LOL

Sweetpea, we don't call it a 'hit and run'; we just have REAL lives to be lived and don't spend ALL day wringing our hands and salivating over the next post on this rag!

I am a concerned citizen, myself. I still have family in Paulding County.

I have family in Paulding county, as well, and I have several acres of property, with development on it, there. I pay as much taxes in Paulding county as I do here.

But, what difference does that make? I am a Georgia concerned citizen, who doesn't like public corruption, anywhere in Georgia.

I'm right there with you. I pay taxes in Paulding as well. Not as much as here, but Paulding still gets a nice check from me.

What's the difference? Nothing, except mileage maybe.

Guys and Gals,

I have come into knowledge that the Secretary of State has, against his judgement, had to let the verdict in my case against Rep. Braddock stand due the law written as it is. However, there is still opportunity. I have also heard that if enough citizens file a complaint with him expressing the views that we are appalled at the situation, he will be forced to take action.

I am going to appeal the ruling and plead my case yet again. I need all of my fellow P.Com D19 constituents to help me by emailing Mr. Kemp and let him know how appalled we are that someone with these issues is still able to run for office as well as currently serve.

Brian Kemp SoS Email

Thanks,

WineGuy

Thank you, Wineguy, for your hardwork and dedication to this matter!! I have sent my email to the Secretary of State and certainly hope that something will be done to stop this unworthy person from representing any of us.

Please feel free to let me know of any questions you have. Good luck and lets put the voice of the people to use.

Don't think so. I think Kemp has already ruled on the 19th. Did that a few days ago.

As the Secretary of State he can make the ruling at any point. He has made final his decision on the challenge that I made, but he has said nothing of the complaints coming from everyone else. It is fully within his power to make a call on the election at any point he would like.

But I also am feeling pretty good about the votes cast thus far on this site in District 19 in the poll. And before you start crying foul and bias and favoritism (this is not aimed at any one person but at anyone who would like to argue), I do understand that the people on this site have been influenced greatly by the posts. As such my hope is that the information has been infectious and many in the county are wise enough to change the level of ethics and lawfulness represented in this district.

I do hope you are correct. Though, in previous elections, the results on this site did not depict the outcome. However there were people at that time on this site (even the knowledgeable) who inexplicably advocated for her more on here.

I'm glad that you posted this simple action that people can take because most people are generally willing to take action when they believe that it even possibly can make a difference. And thank you for your efforts at the hearing.

Bosshog, this person is calling me a m/f!!! (whatever that is!)

Bitter, hee hee, honey, you don't want to go there!

Why are you so bitter m/f?

Sugar, what makes one 'bitter'? The fact that she points out your miserable life to you and you don't like it?

I will never understand why anyone would back a candidate that has this kind of issue. Not paying taxes and then wanting to hold office? SERIOUSLY? But then again, logic often doesn't play a part in the political process.

I wonder that my self. That and how can people slam one person for owing taxes and bad business and yet support and make excesses for another who owes money for a bad business and we will not even go into the joke of a "vacation home".

I didn't disagree with them until the porn thread and the double standards started. It is somebody with a personal axe to grind, that is obvious at this point. You may know who that is, but I don't.

Since you asked....

I'm sure that some people involved with this SOS drive have good intentions. I was right there with you for a while.

The porn thread (or joke, as it was referred to) has been discussed. No class and I'm sure it was deleted rather quickly. Nobody would make a post like that on a public board that doesn't have some kind personal vendetta going on. Of course, they don't have the balls to admit to it.

Include the fact that while encouraging people from outside the 19th to email the SOS, any other comment from outside the district is quickly brushed off. It does makes me wonder how many have jumped on the tomato wagon that can't vote in the 19th either.

Some of my Paulding family are visiting Savannah this weekend. We will have some interesting conversations, I'm sure.

I just remembered what they are talking about and I thought it was quite ugly. Did not and does not have anything to do with whether I support her or not. It was ugly and over the top!

It appears that I gave some people to much credit, and others not enough. I forgot for a minute that this was pcom. You can take over now, NJ. I've had enough.

Integrity, really? Here's your sign.

You email and lie, in writing, to the Secretary of State that you live in the 19th District, when you don't. Climb off your high horse, everybody knows it's crap.

I am a concerned citizen, it doesn't matter where I live. I never stated that I live in that district.

As a voting member of the Georgia legislature the election of any member in the state has an impact on laws statewide. Therefore it is in the interest of all citizens of Georgia as to who represents us.

My "badge" is a seven point suppository for you.

Ok I am amazed, how people can vote for a criminal. I want to know the secret of people wanting her to represent them. She has so much against her. Just tell me why Paulette would get any votes?

There is a choice,Melissa isn't a criminal. She is one of us,who will represent us the middle class worker. That is what we need people.

Who knows maybe this time will be different
