Mrs. Sara Tidwell age 52 of Dallas Georgia passed away on Wednesday, July 27, 2011 at her residence.

 

 

 

“Granny Sara”, as she was affectionately known was born on October 18, 1958 in Marietta, GA to loving parents the late Mr. Grady Joseph Chester & Mrs. Emma Jewell Beavers Chester. She worked as a Secretary at Wellstar Paulding Hospital. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, photography, and making wedding cakes for her family.

 

 

 

Mrs. Sara Tidwell is survived by her beloved husband Mr. Wayne Tidwell, two sons Mr. Nathaniel Lee Tidwell and Mr. Jessie Daniel Tidwell, Father and Mother in Law Reverend & Mrs. James Lee (Betty Jean) Tidwell all of Dallas, GA; three sisters Mrs. Patsy Hefner of Ellijay, GA, Mrs. Florine White of Talking Rock, GA, and Mrs. Mattie Jo Gaithwright of Ellijay, GA; four brothers Mr. Johnny Chester, Mr. Clifford Chester both of Canton, GA, Mr. Tony Chester of Waleska, GA, and Mr. Kenneth Chester of Jasper, GA; many nieces and nephews as well as other beloved family members and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents and three brothers Mr. Gene Chester, Mr. Jimmy Chester, and Mr. Jackie Chester. “Granny Sara” was loved by many and will be missed by all who knew her.

 

 

 

Funeral Services for Mrs. Sara Tidwell will be held at Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Friday, July 29, 2011 at 2 pm with Reverend Tim Logan officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Johnny Hefner, Jackie Chester, Jason Chester, Bobby Chester, Brandon Chester, Brandon Stone, Shannon Hanson and Jason Gordon. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, July 28, 2011 from 4 – 9 pm and Friday, July 29, 2011 from 9 am until the time of service.
