Mr. Wayne Garrett

Mr. Wayne Garrett, age 73 of Dallas, GA passed away on Friday, June 17, 2011 at his residence.

 

 

 

Mr. Garrett was born on March 25, 1938 in Marietta, GA, the son of the late Mr. Joseph Clyde Garrett and Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Vernon Garrett. Mr. Garrett was a truck driver for the Coca Cola Company for many years. In his spare time, he enjoyed gardening, fishing, hunting, and being outdoors.

 

 

 

Mr. Garrett is survived by his wife Mrs. Marjean Baxter Garrett of Dallas, GA; 1 daughter, Sherry Garrett of Acworth, GA; 2 sons, Mr. Geary (Kathy) Garrett of Perry, GA and Mr. Terry (Cindy) Garrett of Dallas, GA; 3 grandchildren, Amanda Garrett of Atlanta, GA; Ethan Garrett of Dallas, GA, and Hannah Garrett of Dallas, GA; and several cousins.

 

 

 

Mr. Garrett is preceded in death by his beloved parents Mr. Joseph Clyde Garrett and Mrs. Sarah Elizabeth Vernon Garrett.

 

 

 

Funeral services for Mr. Wayne Garrett will be conducted in the chapel of Jeff Eberhart Funeral Home on Monday, June 20, 2011 at 2 PM with Pastor Derrick Fowler officiating. Music will be provided by Perry Cordell and Bryce Lee. Interment will follow at New Hope Cemetery.

 

 

 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Sunday, June 19, 2011 from 4-9 PM and again on Monday, June 20, 2011 from 9 AM until the service begins at 2 PM.
