bensonfh Posted January 7, 2011 Report Share Posted January 7, 2011 Funeral Services for Mrs. Shirley Jean Parker, age 71, of Dallas, Ga. will be held Saturday, January 8, 2011, 12:00 Noon at Tabernacle Baptist Church in Hiram, Ga. Rev. Hayward Bass and Rev. Danny Patrick will officiate. Interment will follow at Paulding Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Parker will lie in state at the church from 11:00-12:00 on Saturday. Visitation for Mrs. Parker will be held Friday, January 7, 2011, 4:00-9:00. Mrs. Parker is survived by: Husband, Mr. Franklin Parker of Dallas, Ga.; Son, Mr. and Mrs. Ronnie (Roseanna) Perkins of Dallas, Ga.; Son, Mr. Jimmy Perkins of Bremen, Ga.; Son, Mr. Tony Perkins of Cartersville, Ga.; Daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Frank (Faye) Wall of Kennesaw, Ga.; Step Son, Mr. and Mrs. Benny (Debra) Parker of Dallas, Ga.; Step Daughter, Mr. and Mrs. Ricky (Denise) Hall of Dallas, Ga.; Grandchildren, Justin (Heather) Perkins, Jennifer (Ethan) Michael, Jesse Ray Perkins, Tony Eugene Perkins, Emily Wall, Tabitha Perkins, Amanda Perkins, Melissa (Chris) Stegall, Ronnie Eugene Perkins, Jr. and Shawn Wall; Step Grandchildren, John (Misty) Parker and Natasha (Alan) Lee; Great Grandchildren, Abbey Wall, Ayden Wall, Madeline Michael, Grant Michael, Eleanor Michael, Jasmine Perkins, Athena Perkins, Jade Perkins, Autumn Perkins and Branson Lee; Sister, Mrs. Margaret Ivey of Cartersville, Ga.; Nieces and Nephews. Jetsmom Posted January 7, 2011 Report Share Posted January 7, 2011 (edited) Yes, Miss Shirley worked at the House of Parts in Cartersville for many years and her husband Mr. Parker, is with Parker Sales & Service in Dallas. He is so sad with his loss, but is holding up well. Mrs. Parker passed away at Paulding Memorial Hospital. She had medical complications come up related to her Alzheimer's.
