Psychotherapist, educator, and author Carol Jones wrote" Hopeful Heart, Peaceful Mind: Managing Infertility" to fill a void in the current literature for infertility patients. Although medical books on infertility abound, few authors address the emotional and spiritual needs of these individuals. The material in the book is grounded on Jones own experience with infertility and on her many years of counseling individuals and couples struggling with infertility issues.

 

I wrote the book to help individuals and couples deal with the many emotional issues they confront on their journey toward family building. It includes practical advice, personal stories from my clients, and techniques to promote overall health and inner peace. Just as I do in my counseling work, I explain and encourage a range of practices such as yoga, meditation, visualization, and music-evoked imagery.
