patsapparel Posted September 17, 2010 Report Share Posted September 17, 2010 Sewing Classes for Beginner or Intermediate sewers at Pat's Apparel in Hiram Pat is an experienced seamstress who would love to teach you or your daughter or son to sew. A new class is starting Friday, Oct 1st and will be 4 weeks long, 1 1/2 hours each class and held from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Fridays. In this time you will learn to thread your sewing machine and wind a bobbin, sew straight seams and curved, backstitch, and use common sewing tools like seam rippers and sewing scissors. The sewing project for this class will be a long robe that will be suitable for a witch's costume, princess or angel, depending on the type of fabric you want to use and the accessories you may want to purchase to finish the costume. You must have your own sewing machine to bring to this class. This class is appropriate for young people 12 years old and up or adults. Cost of class is $120.00 and includes the supplies needed to make the long robe. Please email me with questions! Link to post Share on other sites
