DVD+R, DVD-R etc. some dvd players and laptops play multiple dvd formats.... but not all of them. Does anybody know it they make a recorder for dvd"s?My hubby may be going back on the road and I want to record his favorite shows on dvd for him to take with him... Georgia Dawg Posted July 26, 2010 Report Share Posted July 26, 2010 Yeah, I've got a recorder that records TV/Movies directly to VHS tape or DVD RW. Like others have said, make sure you do the right format - +R or -R. (or +RW or -RW if you want to use them over and over). Link to post Share on other sites
