Marvin Curtis Gravett, age 72, of Dallas, GA, passed away April 6, 2010. Born in Paulding County, March 28, 1938, to the late Alfred Hiram Gravett and the late, Mattie Rose Lee Gravett. Mr. Gravett was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Ruth Gravett; daughter, Cynthia Denise Gravett; brothers and sisters, Nora Henson, Lewis Gravett, James Gravett, Jody Gravett, Floyce Gravett, Rose Lee Harrell, Bill Gravett, L. D. Gravett, Alfred J. Gravett, and Carrie Gravett. Mr. Gravett worked for the Georgia Department of Transportation as an equipment operator. He was a member of Oak Ridge Baptist Church

in Aragon, GA.

Survivors include a sister & brother-in-law, Flora Mae Fennell & husband, Herman Calvin of Bremen, GA; numerous nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be Saturday, April 10, 2010, at 3:00 PM, from

Clark Funeral Home, with Reverend Tim Deems, Reverend Charles Sutton, Reverend Joe Maxwell and Reverend Buddy Carter officiating.

Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. Billy Harrell, Ernest Harrell, Ronnie Gravett, Randy Stubblefield, Allen Crew and Jimmy Gravett will serve as pallbearers. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.

Marvin was my daddy's cousin. We are so sorry to hear of his passing. Prayers for the family.
