Mrs. Rhoda L. Wilkes age 76 of Dallas, Georgia and formerly of Brunswick, Ga passed away at her daughter's residence on March 24, 2010. She was born on August 10, 1933 the daughter of the late W. G. O'Quinn and Bessie Edgy O'Quinn of Brunswick, Ga. Throughout her life she was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and was a care giver to others. She enjoyed gardening and spending time with her family.

 

 

 

Mrs. Rhoda L. Wilkes is survived by her daughter & son in law; Steve & Debora Hubbard of Hiram, Ga; son; Clary Wilkes of Cumming, Ga.; 2 granddaughters; Karissa & (husband) Brian Miller and Jennifer & (husband) Sean Heim; 3 grandsons, Stephen & (wife) Casey Hubbard, Micah & (wife) Lori Wilkes and Simon & (wife) Niki Wilkes; 4 great grandchildren; Emily Metz, Grace Miller, Ashton Heim, and Townes Wilkes; and a very special niece; Cynthia Morris, and a very special nephew; Gene Pollard and their children & grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband William Wilkes; son, Jess Wilkes, father & mother; W. G. O'Quinn and Bessie Edgy O'Quinn.

 

 

 

A graveside service will be held at Pilgrims Rest Cemetery located in Waynesville, Ga on Friday March 26, 2010 at 3 PM. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday March 25, 2010 from 4PM until 7PM. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the Pancreatic Cancer Society @ 1825 Barrett Lakes Boulevard, Suite 280, Kennesaw, Ga. 30144.
