LaTrella Maxwell Shirley, age 79, of Ellenwood, GA, passed away Tuesday, March 23, 2010. She was born in Toccoa, GA, March 26, 1930, and was preceded in death by her parents, James P. & Eunice J.

Maxwell and husband, Zeb J. Shirley. Mrs. Shirley worked for Flex-Pak for 35 years, as a Quality Control Inspector of Plastic Bags.

Survivors include her sons & daughters-in-law, Randall & Sandra Shirley of Stockbridge, GA and Shane & Donna Shirley of McDonough, GA; daughters & sons-in-law, Brenda Bembry of Ellenwood, GA, Kathy & Danny Kimsey of Toccoa, GA and Judy & Dwight Bone of Stockbridge, GA; brothers and sisters, Quinton & Shelby Maxwell of Dallas, GA, John & Sylvia Maxwell of Tampa, FL, Marie Carter of Toccoa, GA, Lula Faith Maxwell of Kennesaw, GA, Pate & Bonnie Maxwell of Toccoa, GA, Anna Faye & Lee Stowe of Toccoa, GA, Linda Bennett of Toccoa, GA, Sharon & Frank Stewart of Toccoa, GA, and Karen & Ronnie Smith of Toccoa, GA; nineteen grandchildren; thirty-four great-grandchildren; one great-great-grandchild; many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Funeral services will be Friday, March 26, 2010, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home, with Pastor John Stallings and Pastor Bob Claytor officiating. Interment will follow at 3:00 PM, from Stephens Memorial Gardens in Toccoa, GA. Pallbearers will be Tony Shirley, Daniel Stallard, Mitchell Winne, Richie Eley, Jeremy Bone, Tom Bembry, Phillip Shirley, Nathan Gladish, Alex Stallard and Lucas Combs. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday from 4:00 PM until 8:00 PM.
