Clark Funeral Home Posted March 9, 2010 Report Share Posted March 9, 2010 Rubye Alexander Kline, age 95, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away Tuesday, March 9, 2010. She was born in Paulding County, November 16, 1914, and was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph Newton Alexander & Viola Victoria Defreese Alexander, and a son, Thomas James Newsome. She was a member of Corner Baptist Church. Survivors include her son & daughter-in-law, Eugene & Edith Collins of Appling, GA; daughter & son-in-law, Elizabeth & Rev. Tommy Paine of Powder Springs, GA; sisters, Jerlene Ferris of Powder Springs, GA and Alene Davis of Rockmart, GA; brothers-in-law, Charles Gannon of Ashland, KY and Sammy Cowart of Sandersville, GA; ten grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild. Funeral services will be Thursday, March 11, 2010, at 11:00 AM, from Clark Funeral Home with Reverend Tommy Paine officiating. Interment will follow in Bethany Christian Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to: Triad Powder Springs Nursing & Rehab Center Activities Department in memory of Rubye Kline. Clark Funeral Home, Hiram, GA, is in charge of arrangements.
