What was your favorite Christmas present when you were a kid. Mine was a record player (I know, I'm old).

My was a doll that my mother made. They didnt have the money for a cabbage patch doll, so she made me and my sister dolls that looked like us. I remember when I woke up and saw it under the tree I was so happy that I ran into my parents room jumped on my dad showing him the doll. To me it was better then a cabbage patch kid, I was about 7 years old.

My grandmother used to get me a Hess truck every single year. No dolls. No coloring books. A toy truck. At least they were cool. The lights lit up and everything. I remember I had this one!

My niece had red hair and was about the same size as the doll when I got it. It was like I had my own little baby to play with like my big sister. My sister is 11 years older than me, so I was still very young when I became an aunt. LOL! That niece is now 37yo and has her own little redhead to contend with.

One of my favorites was a candle making kit then I dropped the boiler of

hot wax in the sink and it splashed on me so I turned on the cold water.

My father was not at all happy when he had to take the pipes apart to get

the hardened wax out. :nea:
