Wow!!! I live in West Paulding (Yorkville-Rose's Store Area) and we did not get any hail. My bro lives in Rockmart and his hail was a little bigger. I hope you did not get any damage. 8)

Welcome Shotzee, we are neighbors and yep we got lucky, lots of wind and 1/2" of rain but no tornados or hail. We're off Holly Springs and Woodrow Kay, where you at?? LOL

We are in New Hope. My husband found some larger ones, but I didn't get any pictures!!

We actually had two "waves" of hail. The first wave had all the big stuff. Then while I was outside taking pictures, we got hit with another wave of much smaller hail.

I took this picture while the second wave of hail was still falling:

We have hail the size of golf balls in our freezer that 1st grader went out to get after it was over and it had been on the ground for at least 30 minutes when he went out to get it and it was still HUGE!!!!! Scary!! It sounded like bowling balls hitting the roof. Lots of bowling balls!

Now that my new Accord is dented like a golf ball, could I just take it to a Line-X truck bed sprayer, and have my car painted in that stuff. That would make it look like a stealth fighter....Then it'd be hail proof. I wonder if it would absorb Police Radar :)

we are in new hope too...no "real damage" since all our vehicles are about as old as dirt anyways..ha. but my son woke up to flat tire and he has brand new tires...weird. Came in two big swoops here too. We are very close to publix...and it was LOUD. The saint bernard was not happy and a cat who is NOT AT ALL friendly with me wanted hugging and kissing while i hid in the basement..ha. (lived thru four so i tend to hide and hope it dont spot me at all anymore)

LOL Maybe - if they were still in business, but I don't think they are doing that anymore. That's what I heard anyway. Could be wrong.

Yep same here Justamom. We are behind publix and had golf ball size hail right after the tornado sirens sounded and I seen some clouds swirl into a "horseshoe shape". The center had no clouds in it but clouds were bending around the center. A few minutes later the hail started, golf ball size and COVERED the hill we live on. Even driveways and the paved road were covered. We were in the basement with all four cats but had windows open. Cats were watching until it got too loud! :)

Will never forget the day THREE came through Paulding within about 2 hours. One in the woods beside PCHS DURING school hours! Another on Scoggins Rd. The third bounced around off Hiram Sudie Rd. where I lived. I think this was spring of 1984? Another year I was living off Narroway Church Rd (Braswell mtn), we had BASEBALL size hail that was thrown sideways by the wind. It busted out windows, punched holes in gutters and damaged a lot of roofs in the area. My 2 year old escort was totaled.

Just a few of my storm stories. :)
