Anybody got the scanner on? Hear anything about truck vs. tree off 101?

We were in the back yard and heard a noise like a car hitting a tree and about 5 min later heard a TON of sirens. Hubby drove the 4 wheeler up there and all he could see from our "street" down 101 was something wrapped around a tree.

heard them say somthing about a tree being hit and was split and leaning towards the powerline...did not catch what hit it or if anyone was hurt

thanks....hubby said it looked like a red f-150 but he wasnt sure as our street is up from where it happened.

My husband was on his way home from work and stopped the help the person involved. He said the individual that was involved was ok. The person was in a truck and ran off the road.
