Mr. Cleveland Tyra Roberts

Funeral Services for Mr. Cleveland Tyra Roberts, age 81, of Hiram, Ga. will be held on Wednesday, February 4, 2009, 2:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home. Rev. Chris Simpson and Rev. Jeremy Hicks will officiate. Interment will follow at White Oak Springs Baptist Church with full military honors.

 

Visitation for Mr. Roberts will be Tuesday, February 3, 2009, 5:00-9:00 P.M. and Wednesday until the time of service at 2:00.

 

Mr. Roberts was a retired from the United States Air Force with over 20 years service.

 

Mr. Roberts is survived by: Many Nieces and Nephews; Sister in Law, Mrs. Louise Roberts of Hiram, Ga.

 

Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by: Parents, Mr. and Mrs. Tyra (Ida Fields) Roberts; Brothers, Mr. and Mrs.W. B. (Thelma) Roberts, Mr. and Mrs. Alva (Jean) Roberts, Mr. L.T. Roberts; Sisters, Mr. and Mrs. J.C. (Marvine) Hicks and Mr. and Mrs. Hubert (Sallie) Hicks.

]Cleveland was one of the nicest, friendliest gentlemen I have ever known. He always had a smile and a hello for everyone. I pray all of his family and friends have peace knowing he has joined his Heavenly Father, brothers, sister-in-law and all that passed before him. May this dear man, Cleveland, rest in peace.
