bensonfh Posted January 20, 2009 Report Share Posted January 20, 2009 Funeral Services for Mr. Silas Edward Fennell, age 83, of Dallas, Ga. will be held on Thursday, January 22, 2009, 4:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Travis Warren and Rev. Brad Benson will officiate. Interment will follow at Gann Cemetery with Rev. Bob Butler officiating. Visitation for Mr. Fennell will be Wednesday, January 21, 2009, 3:00-9:00 P.M. at Benson Funeral Home and Thursday until time of the service at 4:00. Mr. Fennell is survived by: Wife, Mrs. Frankie Hunt Fennell of Dallas, Ga.; Daughters, Mr. and Mrs. Sam (Jane) Buchanan of Rockmart, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. Ray (Nancy) Osborne of Dallas, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. Wayne (Wanda) Steele of Dallas, Ga., Mr. and Mrs. Sam (Donna) Braly of Dallas, Ga. and Mrs. Jennifer Thomason of Rockmart, Ga.; Son, Mr. and Mrs. Jeff (Tammy) Fennell of Hiram, Ga.; Grandchildren, Mr. and Mrs. Brandon (Dara) Lamb, Mr. and Mrs. Todd (Leigh) Leggett, Mr. and Mrs. Gary (Stephanie) Sorrell, Mr. and Mrs. Garett (Windi) Osborne, Mr. Corey Osborne, Mr. and Mrs. Daniel (Brooke) Murphy, Mr. Samuel Braly, Mr. Ben Braly, Miss Abi Braly, Mr. Matthew Fennell, Miss Mallery Fennell and Miss Emma Thomason; Several Great Grandchildren; Sister, Mrs. Ollie Mae Lewis of Dallas, Ga.; Sister in Laws, Mrs. Marion Fennell of Dallas, Ga. and Mrs. Amy Fennell of Dallas, Ga.; Many Nieces and Nephews. They were given many years with this kind, gentle man, leaving many wonderful memories. I know this family loves God; and His arms are open to hold and comfort them as they grieve their loss. Even though we all know Mr. Fennell is with his Heavenly Father, He knows this family and friend's grief because they miss him. Be with them all, Dear God, bless them and hold them tight.
