FreeBird
Sounds like there may be a new female firefighter at station 4. I do not recall ever hearing any females on the FD radio. I heard her on radio checks this morning and then both personnel on duty were just dispatched to a med call.

FreeBird
Do you know if said captain has ever been packed out and entered a burning building or is it an administrative position?
Friend4Life
The female capt is one of the battalion chiefs. I would assume that she would have had to do hands on in order to get that posiition. We have had quite a few female firefighters in Douglas county for 10-15 years.
nanapudding
I know her very well and yes she has done it all and very well to boot. She will charge right in there and hang with or better than most of the guys.
