Let's Save our Historic Courthouse!

I've heard a rumor that the Paulding County Historic Courthouse is being rented out. I believe that this building should be used for the tax-payers of Paulding County to enjoy instead of being closed to the public. It should be used to benefit the citizens of Paulding County. It could be used as a museum, library, welcome center, historic society, art gallery, or all of the above. It should be used to bring people to downtown Dallas. If money and keeping it up are the issues, i'm sure there are grants that can be received, or the money that is used towards parks and ball parks can be used for this purpose. People of Paulding County enjoy participating in various activities besides sport related activities. Call you commissioners if you agree!

I've heard that Kennesaw State University is going to be holding classes in the old courthouse. I think that could be a great way to keep lots of people downtown.

We should definately be able to show off our historic courthouse. It is one of the most beautiful buildings in the county. It would make a great museum for the history of Paulding county.
