  1. I have not been to Cloudland Canyon but a friend of mine has and loved it.
  2. Go into your settings and delete that network from your iPhone. Then go back in and re-add it. It should fix it. For whatever reasons it doesn't recognize that network (wifi) anymore. Let me know if that fixed it. When you go into settings open the wifi you are trying to connect to and tell it to "forget this network". Then re-add it.
  3. Ugh..... I had guessed about $7000 .... Was hoping I was over doing it! I guess it will pay off in the long run. Since we bought this house in 2002 (new construction) our bill in the summer ranges from $350-$500 (april-oct) a month.... Winter $200 The furnace is gas and ranges $250-$400 in winter.. Summer $40.
  4. It have finally come to the point that I am going to have to replace my A/C unit. It has gone out again for the 2nd time in 2 months. I was hoping to make it thru the summer and replace it in the spring. I am going to try and still hold out til then, but I need to know what we are looking at as far as cost. Everyplace wants to do a inhome inspection to give a quote. I just wanted to get an idea of what I will be looking at. I need to upgrade to 4 ton..(i currently have a 3.5) it is always hot in here. My house is 4 levels... roughly 2500 sq ft full sun at all times I have pet
  5. Lol... I was born and raised in the Chicago area ( really East side of Aurora) and I agree it is just the norm there..... Never really thought it had to do with being off the interstate. I also lived a few yrs in San Diego and I agree, it was nice being right off the interstate and so close to everything :-)
  6. LOL.... It is funny that you say that about the Droids. My hubby is a bit of a electronics junky when it comes to new ipads, phones and tablets. We are apple computer users for sure.... I love the imac..... BUT..... you are 100% correct on droid having everything for free... That is the one thing that frustrates me about apple.... you have to pay for just about EVERYTHING. Although hubby is a apple lover, he still won't give up the Droid Tablet b/c of the Google maps....... they have the best directions out there! Apple and Droid just run off different operating systems.
  7. I had Davis and loved them until they sold to American. I am not happy with American and have been looking for another company to use, but like everyone else has said, they want to charge a cancellation fee., I never signed a contract with them so I feel no need to pay that. I have also noticed that they have changed out all the neighbors trash cans but have not done mine.... I still have a Davis can.
  8. They are filming something at Stone Mountain Park too.
  9. I don't think it will change anything. It is sold every other day of the week. It's not like alcoholics and other people sit at home on sunday drying out and waiting for Monday to roll around so they can buy more.... no, they just buy extra on Sat.
  10. I agree.... Heck if anything sunday sales will stop the people who are drinking it up Sat night and figure out they don't have enough for Sun NASCAR, FOOTBALL, etc. from running out to get another case b4 the store close Sat night!!! So for all you saying it will increase DUI's.... it may decrease them on Sat nights!
  11. I personally think Verizon is much better overall. On paper AT&T is supposed to be better, but from personal experience Verizon has beat AT&T out 90% of the time. Again, hubby has AT&T and I have Verizon. Whenever we go places we rely on my phone b/c his usually does not work. He gets dropped calls quit a bit.....more than I do (I can't even remember the last time I had a dropped call either) If he has no service, 99% of the time mine does. We travel a bit too.... North GA, South GA, Illiniois, Florida, and a lot of camping. I have never had an issue not getting service. The
  12. Yes, if you MUST be able to access the internet while on a phone call with someone you have no choice but to go with AT&T. Verizon works off a CDMA network which does not allow that.....the only exception is if you are on a wi-fi network. This is not a big deal to me, but is for hubby...that is why he stays with AT&T (buisness) otherwise he would have come to verizon..... they have better connection, speed, and overall better service. I will say I have never had a problem with verizon.
  13. I have Verizon and hubby has AT&T...we both have the iPhone. The biggest difference is that with AT&T you can surf the web and talk on the phone at the same time.....with verizon you cannot. You can do everything else but that.
