Mrs. Florence Moody, age 83, of Dallas, passed away on Monday, July 19, 2004. She was born on August 29, 1920 in Paulding Co. to the late David and Core Alberta Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of Harmony Grove Baptist Church.

Surviving are her sons and daughters-in-law, Frank and Jan Moody of Austell, Billy and Hazel Moody of Dallas and Tom and Connie Moody of Powder Springs; a daughter and son-in-law, Ruth and Gilbert McMinn of Hiram; sisters, Nellie Brown of Dallas, Mildred Morris and her husband, Richard of Dallas and Marvine Moody of Austell; brothers and sisters-in-law, Guy and Catherine Brown of Marietta, Glen and Betty Brown of Jackson, GA and Harold and Laura Brown of Rainsville, AL; sisters-in-law, Betty Martie of Austell and Ruth Campbell of Dallas; brother-in-law, Lloyd Sosebee of Austell; 15 grandchildren; 40 great-grandchildren and 18 great-great grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 21, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. from Clark Funeral Home in Hiram with Reverend J. T. Hollingshed officiating. The interment will follow in Paulding Memorial Gardens with Randy Garner, Ricky Moody, Charles Moody, Eric Moody, Brian Moody and Shane Moody serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram in charge of arrangements.
