Rackley

Mrs. Judy Barnett Rackley, age 44, of Dallas, passed away on Thursday, December 29, 2005. She was born on March 3, 1961 in Paulding Co. She was a Sr. Executive Assistant with ING Advisors Network. Mrs. Rackley was a member of Pleasant Hill Baptist Church and graduated in 1979 from Paulding County High School.

Surviving are her husband of 26 years, Terry S. Rackley; her father, Reverend George C. Barnett and his wife, Marie of Powder Springs; her mother, Imogene Nelson and her husband, James of Dallas; sisters and brothers-in-law, Kathy and Larry Watkins of Dallas and Georgia and Wayne Rakestraw of Adairsville, GA; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2005 at 2:00 p.m. from Pleasant Hill Baptist Church with Reverend George C. Barnett and Reverend Lamar Rackley officiating. The interment will follow in New Canaan Baptist Church Cemetery with Tim Rackley, Brian Rackley, Michael Gravett, Ryan Brown, Chuck Sprayberry and Cody Rakestraw serving as pallbearers. The family will receive friends on Friday from 4:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Melanoma Research, Emory Winship Cancer Institute, 1365 B. Clifton Rd. NE, Suite 4100, Atlanta, Georgia 30322, 404-778-5175. Clark Funeral Home in Hiram, GA in charge of arrangements.

I just saw this. I wish I had known sooner so I could have gone to pay my respects.

 

She was a fine lady & had a great family. She will be missed.

 

We just saw this too and wish we had known this earlier too. We sure would have been their to pay our respect. Terry- our prayers are with you and your family and we are so sorry that we did not know about this sooner. God Bless you and if you need anything please let us know. She was a very sweet lady.

My family and I are so sad to hear of your loss. My husband Ray and I are your neighbors that live in the yellow house facing your's. I remember when Ray told me that your wife was sick. I thought then that I wish I knew you better. If there is anything that we can do for you, please don't hesitate to come down your hill. Your precious wife is resting in the hands of God now. I will be praying for you and your family.
