Mrs. Ruth Ann Eckols Morris, age 89, of Hiram, passed away on Thursday, June 17, 2004. She was born on January 6, 1915 in Seguin, Texas to the late Edward and Jesse Eckols. She was a retired teacher and bookkeeper and a member of Bethel United Methodist Church.

Surviving are her daughters and sons-in-law, Dona and Rick Knudsen of Burnsville, NC, Denisha and Mike Schukert of Palm Coast, FL and Lorraine and Marvin Ritch of Hiram; a sister, Mozelle Spleen of New Braunfels, TX; 10 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews.

A graveside service will be held on Friday, June 18, 2004 at 3:00 p.m. from Bethel United Methodist Church Cemetery in Hiram with Reverend Billy Byrd officiating. The family will receive friends on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until 2:30 p.m. at the funeral home. Clark Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
