MORRIS

 

MRS. MAMIE LOU MORRIS, AGE 84, OF DALLAS, PASSED AWAY THURSDAY, NOVEMBER 6, 2003. SHE WAS BORN JUNE 13, 1919 IN DALLAS TO THE LATE WILLIAM AND OTELIA NIX HOLLAND. SHE WAS A RETIRED INSURANCE OFFICE CLERK AT PAULDING HOSPITAL AND WAS A MEMBER OF THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH IN DALLAS. SHE WAS PRECEDED IN DEATH BY HER HUSBAND, J. T. MORRIS.

 

SURVIVING ARE HER SON, JACK D. MORRIS OF DALLAS; A DAUGHTER AND SON-IN-LAW, LINDA AND PAUL SCHUH OF DALLAS; TWO GRANDCHILDREN, JANET LAWRENCE AND WESLEY POSTELL; SIX GREAT-GRANDCHILDREN, JENNIFER HARDY, BRICE AND MORGAN LAWRENCE, MACEY, BAILEY AND JAY POSTELL.

 

FUNERAL SERVICES WERE HELD SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 8, 2003 AT 2:00 P.M. FROM CLARK FUNERAL HOME IN HIRAM WITH REVEREND DON RACKLEY AND REVEREND FRANK HAMBY OFFICIATING. THE INTERMENT FOLLOWED IN DALLAS MEMORY GARDENS.

 

THE PALLBEARERS WERE TIM SCHREIBER, LEE BLEVINS, JEFF BLEVINS, MICKEY ROYSTON, ED DANIEL AND DON BROWN. IN LIEU OF FLOWERS, DONATIONS MAY BE MADE TO THE FIRST BAPTIST CHURCH OF DALLAS BUILDING FUND, THE JOYFUL SINGERS OR THE NARROWAY BAPTIST CEMETERY. CLARK FUNERAL HOME IN HIRAM IN CHARGE OF ARRANGEMENTS.
