I thought about having costumes sewn for the kids this year instead of buying them. The pattern books show really cute ideas this year.

Does anyone sew clothes? huh.gif

I dont sew, but my hubby came up with a good idea. These costumes are so expensive and if we are lucky we wear them twice in the same season bc the kids dont want to wear them again the next yr. We should set up some kind of swap, Ive got costumes from 10 yrs worth of halloweens and all different sizes. We all get the costumes together and swap them for someone elses.

I could try to do it myself, but I'm afraid to try.

I only sew quilts, which is a straight line mostly.

OK, so I guess with a screenname of Sew & Craft, I can't hide, huh? biggrin.gif I do sew clothes; formals mostly, but have also sewn a countless number of costumes through the years. What do you have in mind? Send me a PM if you'd like.

How cute! smile.gif Would you simply like them sewn, or would you like help learning to sew them yourself? I'll send you a pm.

my problem is a time issue and I'd like to learn one day in the future.

For this year, I'd like to have them sewn.

Do you charge by the hour?
