Someone once quoted an old Indian Chief “Daylight Savings Time is much like cutting a foot off the top of your blanket, then sewing it onto the bottom of your blanket. Then telling yourself your blanket is now a foot longer”.

I read earlier where the President was endorsing permanent daylight saving time. Maybe we will see that come to reality this year?

Automobiles and their use are responsible for more pollution and other environmental destruction, including the largest share of the greenhouse gases that cause global warming, than any other human pursuit in the world. Cars also cause 40,000 human and 400,000,000 animal deaths every year in the US. Cars lead to suburban growth (= natural habitat destruction) and social isolation.

It's a pain.  During Deer Season it confuses the animals for days having to get up a hour earlier. Do away with it.
