Elvira T. Folsom, age 77, of Powder Springs, GA, passed away on Tuesday, February 27, 2018. She was born on March 18, 1940, in Grand Saline, TX, to the late Douglas & Willie Tharp. Ms. Folsom retired from Swell Plastics and was a member of New Hope Baptist Church.

Survivors include her children, Deborah & Rodrick Cosper of Marietta, GA, Katherine & Cory Lyda of Powder Springs, Doyal Folsom of Dallas, GA, and Lee Jackson of Locust Grove, GA; grandchildren, Mona Palmer, Shane & Tasha Lyda, Colby Lyda, Tory Folsom, Ryan Luke Folsom, Tyler & Mirandi Robertson, Blake & Haley Robertson, McKenzie Jackson, Matthew Jackson, and Peyton Cosper; great-grandchildren, Destiny Delp, Skylar Delp, Maison Martin, Justin Martin, Cory Lyda, JR, Colby Lyda and Hunter Robertson.

A memorial service will be held on Friday, March 2, 2018, at 3 PM, from Clark Funeral Home. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 2, 2018, from 2 PM until 3 PM.
