And what would those steps be ?

"Last year, under the new Trump administration, Berrones went to ICE to refile a stay, and officials told him it was not necessary because he was no longer a deportation priority, [Berrones’ lawyer, Garrett] Wilkes said. But in January, Berrones got a notice from ICE that he would be deported. The lawyer filed another request for a stay, but it was recently denied."

Sounds like he tried to do the right thing. I guess his crystal ball failed to tell him that ICE would go back on their word.

What's sad is that you, and the people like you, would do Jesus Christ the same damn way.

Where is home ? This man was brought here at age ONE.  So to teach him a lesson your going to rip him away from his pregnant (American) wife and five (American) children and dump him in a country he knows absolutely nothing about ? And you call that justice ?

He should be mad at his parents for placing him in this situation.  It should not be the American government's nor its citizens' responsibility to fix a problem that was created by his parents committing a crime.  Following the link in the article, this man is has also committed at least one crime since he was arrested for driving with a fake license.  I bet this man has also stolen an ID to work illegally in this country.  He needs to be deported and his family can chose to emigrate to Mexico..

Should Jesus Christ have been mad at his parents? He did say, "My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me?"

What good would it do for you to be mad at your parents, Rose? It's God's responsibility, not your's.

How in the heck does getting mad at his parents remedy this situation that he was told was a non issue a year and a half ago re his deportation status?  And as a one year old who was not yet actually talking he was supposed to tell them "Hey Mom and Dad, don't do this".

I am in no way in favor of illegal immigration.  It absolutely needs to be stopped, but I do have a heart and compassion for people like this.

What difference do you think Rose applies to a man called Jesus, whether it's Jesus Berrones or Jesus Christ, Julee? Do you think it makes any difference? Jesus Christ was here to help people get away from exploitation, and persecution. The Romans were much like Pedophile supporting conservatives here in the US!

His wife should have thought about the implications and problems that would arise from marrying an illegal alien before marrying and having kids with him.

Nope. Just telling you how I feel..  I have little to zero sympathy for illegals.  A country that refuses to protect its borders and enforce its laws ceases to be a country.  I can't help it if people, like his wife, failed to think about the what ifs of marryinhg someone here illegally.

I guess you feel badly for the illegal immigrant that was driving drunk, no licence, etc and hit and killed a family friend's son in Arizona...

How many people do you think are killed by drunk drivers every year ? Let's not pretend that deporting every hispanic from America is going to suddenly make this a better country. ( For that you would have to get rid of the conservatives.)

UPDATE: Feb. 12 ― Immigration and Customs Enforcement has decided to allow Jesus Berrones ― an undocumented father in Arizona whose five-year-old son is battling cancer ― to stay in the U.S. temporarily.

“In an exercise of discretion, ICE has granted Jesus Armando Berrones-Balderas a one-year stay of removal on humanitarian grounds,” ICE spokesperson Yasmeen Pitts O’Keefe said in a statement Monday.

Last week, ICE had denied Berrones’ request for a stay and planned to deport the 30-year-old, who is originally from Mexico and has been living in the U.S. since he was one and a half years old. But following significant media coverage of Berrones’ situation, the agency reversed its decision. After the one-year stay, Berrones will have to file for a renewal.

Interesting to know that his job of cleaning air conditioning ducts allows him to fully support a family of seven.  ICE also gave him a one year work permit as well.   With six kids he must love the GOP raising the child tax credit to refundable portion to $1400, that's $8400 minimum he'll be getting back in tax credits next year.  Assuming he actually files that is.

Of course, he  has entered the country illegally at least three times, decided that he had a "right" to drive whether the state issued a licence to him or not and then he ignores an order from a valid legal entity, ICE, to report to them.  Ignoring the income tax filing requirements would be right up his alley.    It must be nice to just pick and choose which laws you want to follow and expect no consequences from ignoring the rest.  I wonder how many other laws he ignores because it's his "right".

We're either a land of laws or not.  Trump is correct, we need to enforce the laws we have now and if the people want to help illegals in these situations, we need to pressure Congress to pass the laws to fix the issue.  Ignoring laws we don't like is not an answer.

In this situation, what situation ? He was supporting his family, they weren't on public assistance,( which will probably change once they run him the families sole provider out of the county). Are you suggesting we tell people how many children they are allowed to have ? And if contraceptives fail, because they sometimes do, are you recommending forced aboortzions and mandatory sterilization ?

The situation is that he is here illegally. He has been deported twice and came back twice. Illegally. So you know, there’s a possibility that it can happen again. If that’s the chance they are willing to take, then by all means reproduce away. I wouldn’t chance it though.

The rest of your questions are argumentative drivel. As per usual.

These anchor baby tactics have been used for years by illegals. Find a willing American partner, impregnate (continuously), hide behind the children to stay in the country. A very proven tactic. Began noticing it personally about twenty years ago. Seems to be coming home to roost. Call my observation racist, narrow minded, bigoted or whatever moniker you wish but that does not make it untrue.

Conservatives needed immigrants in any way they could get them to do the work they didn't want to do. This happened about the same time Jobs moved across the border, as well. It was about the money. Getting people to do the work you didn't won't do was cheaper if you hired Mexicans and other immigrants. And, the illegal Immigrants worked the cheapest.

Now you are through with them, but they need the jobs you created for them. so they want to stay. Their families are here, their children have learned English, and are more used to it.

Conservatives should move to Mexico. I'm beginning to see the need to get rid of a few of them.

A man must be excessively stupid, as well as uncharitable,
who believes that there is no virtue but on his own side, and that there
are not men as honest as himself who may differ from him in political principles.

Approximately 136,000 people die accidentally each year, 40,000 in car accidents. How many of these do you contend can be prevented by deporting Hispanics ?

Deporting Hispanics won't help maybe affordable healthcare would.

An American dies of accidental injury every four minutes. If you count people who do not die but need medical help, the rate increases to one every second, according to the safety council.

I did not mean that Conservatives are generally stupid; I meant, that stupid persons are generally Conservative. I believe that to be so obvious and undeniable a fact that I hardly think any honorable Gentleman will question it.  -John Stuart Mill

Drinking and driving grossly impaired is not an accident.

The children?  Or the Democrats?   :)

On the face of it, the 1.8 million illegals probably do less damage to America than Chuck and Nancy.

How about all the illiegals and at least Chuck and Nancy too....
