I am currently trying to recruit support for Dr. Craig Childress' attached APA petition and state legislation in Georgia. The issue is bipartisan and while similar legislation has come up short in Florida and New York, it has passed unanimously in the Pennsylvania House 195-0.
In addition to the support of Georgians for the attached petition, it would be beneficial for everyone to seek the support of the Georgia Licensing Board, Georgia Psychological Association and their district representatives to co-sponsor legislation regarding the mandatory reporting of child psychological abuse. Some judges inconsistently hold the false belief that psychological abuse occurs without tangible evidence but the finger prints of such abuse is symptomatic and has been physically identifiable through studies involving brain scans. The invisible wounds of child psychological abuse fester in adulthood to the detriment of society.
If you would like to write the Georgia Licensing Board, but you are short of time, you can use my letter as a template.
If you would, please consider writing the GPA as well:
