I drove by the old Ryan's and it now has a sign on it "Hiram Beauty Supply".  I lost $10 because I bet it would become a church or some kind of religious facility.

lol, I can't believe you lost.  We needed another non denominational, rock band, come as you are church like we need another beauty supply shop.. Guess someone thinks we have a lot of women in Paulding who are in need of those products..  Anyway, I would loved to have seen a PCUSA or Unitarian church there or anywhere in Paulding County for that matter...

Need to start a pool on how long they will last.

Calling an illegal alien an "undocumented worker" is like calling a drug dealer an "unlicensed pharmacist".

I guess you haven't been to Detroit recently?  Or, Newark or East St.Louis or Gary, IN, or Stockton, CA?

You know, those bastions of liberal Democrat government that have been so successful in attracting wealthy, educated leaders and businesspeople.  Progressive people,  who have uplifted the poorer of their brethren, so their city can be that bright example of how well Socialism works.

Where will Bath and Body be?  I work just over the line in Cobb just up the street from The Avenue.  I tend to shop more in Cobb than Paulding except for the Walmart on Dallas Hwy. and the Publix in New Hope (both close).  I avoid Hiram as much as I possibly can re shopping and decent meals.  If I'm not mistaken there's an Ulta in the new complex where Sprouts is.

Paulding, please catch up!

Have you seen the folks around about? It's gonna take some layering. There's a need to move product on an industrial scale.

hair/beauty salon... the owner must think she is gonna do good..  she out bid Gryo on the building  which Gyro needs a bigger building.. and that place would have been perfect for them...    yep i give it 6 months   for the owner to be able to make enough to pay mortage and make an overhead.

Hungry house cafe has also closed  their doors..

I read earlier today that Sonic Drive-in plans to reopen many now-closed drive-ins. Don't know if that means the one in Hiram would be re-opened.

Last week, someone told my husband that
a hamburger place was going in where Pollo Tropical
was in Hiram.

Anyone know anything about that ?

We also heard Old Navy was going into the shopping plaza...as
well as Bath and Beauty Works and Ulta.
But ...you probably all know that already.

Im rarely in here.

I heard it was Cook Out restaurant ( http://www.cookout.com ) that is coming to the one in Hiram.

I have only eaten in their restaurant in Rome, the milkshakes are pretty good, but the hamburgers were OK.

Dang. 36 locations just in Georgia and I've never even heard of them. I gotta get out more.

4 different size burgers from 2oz. to 8 oz. Lots of folks talking about a confusing menu.

Fresh Watermelon Shakes June thru August. Really? Honest to goodness, it says shake. Not smoothie or something. Anybody?
