Some of those things aren't bad.
And he's still far better than the last guy or the other candidate.
pubby - Do you ever see anything from a positive point of view? Or do you walk around seeing gloom and doom 24/7? I suspect the answer to these questions is determined by which party hold the White House. Trump is a Republican, so everything he does is terribly wrong in your eyes. Conversely, a Democrat can do no wrong as far as you're concerned.
Your entire sense of right and wrong is based on whether a particular issue has an R or D on it.. You have no real morals or opinions of your own. Partisan politics owns you so completely, you're probably incapable of thinking a Republican woman is pretty no matter how gorgeous she is.
You say some of those things that have happened are good. I'll admit none of them - say the TPP - were ideal but the idea that the alternative is better is what I object to.
I know you know that every decision that trump makes is based solely on his gut based on at most, some dumbass opinion expressed on Fox and Friends. There is no analysis, there is no understanding, there is no understanding. He is incapable. And the thing that gets me is that if he screws up a few of these, we'll be in a world of hurt for decades if not forever.
It is kind of like your crazy uncle who never drove a car visiting at thanksgiving and insisting on taking the fastest car of the lot, loading up all the kids and driving like a bat out of hell on a dangerous mountain road. The adults look at the rooster tail of dust along the edge of the canyon and pray as they mumble, Thank God he's not killed the kids .... yet.
I thought he was a good idea from the beginning. His first Presidential rally was in Atlanta. My girlfriend went, which shocked me, if you knew her.
To have one so radical from all of the thieving lawmakers on The Hill, to say exactly what he thinks, to pay for his own campaign, to donate his Presidential salary to charity, to undo the mess Obama and the liberals made, to bring business back, to grow business, to change the tax code, Im looking forward to a great 7 years.
Im not melting and Im not a snowflake. Thats totally on the left. They just cant handle it and will go to any length to try to destroy him. Which is a stupid thing to me. Why wouldnt you want your country to excel and have the lowest unemployment in years? Why wouldnt you want a border wall to keep illegals out? Why wouldnt you want the constitution protected? Why wouldnt you want the stock market going through the roof? Why wouldnt you want welfare revamped? Because you dont know how to wipe your ass without the government telling you how and when.
Dont take it personal. Its only for those that are offended.
You're flat wrong. We want to excel and have a great country. We just don't think you get there by drilling for Oil 200 yards off the emerald coast in Florida after eliminating all the rules and regulations requiring you don't do stupid things (Like BP did in the Gulf in 2009). It is kind of like the analogy above where the fastest car in the lot is a super-charged Hummer that will go 130 miles per hour and you decide to load the vehicle up with all the kids and drive it on a curvy gravel canyon road as you try to hit the top speed.
The point is this man is the antithesis of conservatism. He's pedal to the medal without the first moment of study or consideration and without a lick of sense or prudence. some of the kids in the back are crawling under the seat or strapping themselves in and putting on helmets knowing this crazy SOB is going to wreck us all ... and then some of the kids are so thrilled by the obviously sensational speed, the g-forces that put a carnival ride to shame and are screaming and giggling right along with the idiot; or is it trucking moron driving the bus.
We don't hate the guy, we just know that the Hummer we own is going to be broken and there's a good chance blood will be spilled by the time we get this dumb SOB out of the drivers seat.
If we're lucky, the hummer will bust an axle and we'll slide into the wall of the canyon. If we aren't, we'll fly off the road and drop like a rock, crash and burn. The chances the totally novice crazy old man driving this vehicle will make it through eight years without a something very bad happening is nil.
We don't hate him, we want to excel and succeed as a nation. We just don't think he or his cohorts in congress are capable of doing the job and are hoping to stave off disaster.
There will be plenty of time for hate after the smoke clears and we bury the dead, help the injured and recover the ship of state if it is recoverable at all.
